Tribute to Edward Gorey, spooky art, October 2024

Here’s a dump of photos from the month of October!

Some very corny Halloween “poems.” They are acronyms.

These are so dumb.

Of course, they were started with these:

This one is probably objectively the best.

I had students make “ghosts in a jar” and decorate miniature bottles of poison.

Some students painted ghosts on old photos too

I sculpted a skull!

Here the ghosts aren’t white, they are black, can you see them?
Here’s one of my tributes to Gorey, remember his rhyming advice book?
And here’s another, trying to imitate his handwriting.
Here was an inktober prompt: “campsite”

A tribute to Frankenstein, this is a copper plate etching: dipped in ferric oxcide
And finally to wrap this up, me performing standup outside in the daytime to seemingly no one.
