I made this drawing months ago at their wow hall show in Eugene and I’ve been working on inking and coloring it.
This band always puts on a fun show and I highly recommend you catch them live sometime. I drew on a BIG piece of Bristol board and I was able to fit every musician in, but I wish I had taken more reference photos at the time.
This band is totally fun and dresses in wacky costumes. They played for us on the grass in skinner’s butte park. Check them out here. I enjoyed their originals about elephants and bunnies and their cover of Radiohead’s “national anthem.” I feel I really got loose for these drawings and drew them in a Jules Fieffer and or William Blake kind of style.
